Smorgasburg and the Brooklyn Flea are back in Williamsburg and literally right down the block from Kent Ale House!
Located right on the waterfront at Kent Avenue & North 7th St. (East River State Park), Smorgasburg is open every Saturday from 11 AM – 6 PM and features packaged and prepared foods and beverages from purveyors from NYC and across the region. You’ll find anywhere from 75 – 100 vendors every weekend – rain or shine! The New York Times hails it as the Woodstock of Eating, TimeOut New York calls it a glutton’s paradise, and Mario Batali says it’s the “single greatest thing [he's] ever seen gastronomically in New York City”!
Then there’s the Brooklyn Flea, same location, every Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM, also rain or shine. Here you get hundreds of top vendors of antique furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles, jewelry, arts, crafts, and more, as well as food! It’s considered one of the best antique shows in the country and is frequently at the top of NYC must-do lists.
So whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, get over to Kent Avenue for a weekend of eating and antiquing! We’ll be here (corner of North 11th and Kent) when you need a break or at the end of the day with plenty of craft beer, pub food (if you can still eat), and all your favorite sports, including rugby, soccer, hockey, and every baseball game (thanks to DirecTV’s MLB Extra Innings package).
Staying at the Wythe Hotel? Walk on over – we’re minutes away! Stop by before a show at the Brooklyn Bowl or Music Hall of Williamsburg, check us out when you get back in from the city (we’re oh so close to the L train), or pop in when you’re not exploring the neighborhood. We’ve got a party room in the back, 10 flatscreen televisions, a ping pong table, a full brunch/lunch/dinner menu, and 24 taps of craft beers, as well as more than 100 bottle beers. Call ahead (347-227-8624) to find out what games are playing, what specials we’re serving up, and even to reserve a table for a group.
